    My best decision yet!

    What an excellent experience! The staff radiated warmth and kindness. Our room provided amazing views, and the pool was a refreshing retreat. Dining was good, especially the lavish breakfast spread. Great location to explore the city, this hotel.

    I was thrilled to find that nearby attractions like the fine Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple and the beautiful St Paul's Church were just a short stroll away, making it easy to soak up the local culture .

    Great staff

    Hotel under major renovation, limited facilities and looks more like s construction site than a hotel. Efforts in lobby area but when you move across the property you feel the tiredness of the building mixed with the construction. At least a notification should be given to travelers!

    wonderful place, it was fairly clean and had cordial staff from the doorman to the restaurant staff. bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the room itself was absolutely perfect. the location was marvellous - ease of access to colombo rowing club. a market and a local store were right next door. everything was simply great.

    would like to stay longer

    Great location near Fort and the train station. We had a superior room with a tv and a kingsize bed that was super comfy. The bathroom had free toiletries and a hairdryer. The lobby bar served cold drinks after our city explorations. The breakfast had fresh pastries and yummy coffee. Pool area was relaxing and tropical.

    Staff can't do enough to help. Very helpful and attentive. management is doing a great job to keep guest happy. Staff are very pleasant.

    lifts are a bit dangerous as they close very quickly. got hit by the doors a few times.

    Professional attitude of staff in font desk, concierge as well as service staff at restaurants. Good location in city center with also nice dining options at the old Dutch Hospital district across the street which is a great place during weekends with live music on different locations as well. Good hotel for stayover. Nothing special but am positive that refurb will do the place some good.

    Rooms are way over due for refurb in all areas (look, feel, furniture, bathrooms, crt TV's, etc, etc) which apparently is planned in Jan. 2013. Breakfast was typical Hilton Breakfast fare and selection at lowest production cost possible resulting in low quality, including the coffee/cappuccino requested. Hygiene practises and overall cleanliness standards in outlets need improvement. Live band in the pub was far too loud for such a small area and therefore skipped it and went out.

    I stayed for 4 nights in an Executive King Room. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. Staff are great. The location is ideal for exploring local attractions. The pool is a great spot for relaxation 😊

    Gym,friendly staff

    The hotel is under construction and it is not up to the five star standard. With Booked.net I had a reservation on the 3april. Booking number 336415632. I gave my master card for AU$189, the hotel charged me $251 with taxes. I Was not happy with this booking.This is way more than I expected.
